1. much/many的最高级形式，most意为最多的，其比较级形式为more；

2. 用于部分双音节或多音节形容词或副词前构成其最高级形式；

3. "most 名词"或"most of ＋代词/the ＋名词"，意为“（......当中）大多数/大部分”

most of the 名词复数（谓语动词为复数）

4. most作为副词，还可以表示“很，非常”，等于very。
