岑 参

故园东望路漫漫,双袖龙钟泪不干。

马上相逢无纸笔,凭君传语报平安。

岑参(718?-769?),荆州江陵(今湖北江陵县)人或南阳棘阳(今河南南阳市)人,唐代诗人,与高适并称“高岑”。岑参工诗,长于七言歌行。

CEN Shen(718?-769?), a native of Jiangling, Jingzhou (present-day Jiangling, Hubei Province), otherwise a native of Jiyang, Nanyang (present-day Nanyang, Henan Province). He was a poet in the Tang dynasty. Gaoshi (also a poet) and Cen have been known as “Gao & Cen”. Cen was good at writing poems, especially seven- syllabic chantstrolls (gexing), a style of ancient Chinese poems. (陈蕾译)
