1.may和might表可能性，为也许，或许，可能的意思。其后省略to的不定式可以接一般式，完成式和进行式，表示对现在，过去，将来或者正在进行的推测。
如 If you start now,you may arrive before dark.如果你现在开始，你也许能在天黑前到达。
后不定式接完成式时，意义为或许已经。
