最近，《软件杂志》公布了全球软件2003年度500强的排名。本排名除了独立软件公司外，更包括it服务和it咨询等，分为38个门类之多。排名前十名为：ibm corp. 、微软、eds 、lockheed martin 、accenture ltd. 、computer sciences corp. 、hewlett-packard co. 、oracle corp. 。hitachi, ltd. 、sap。

总体而言，2003年软件业局面惨淡，与2002年相比，有46%的企业反应收入下滑，而2002年这个数据只有34％。500强人均年收入为156774美元。微软达到人均$560,340。

前500强，收入总和达到2897亿美元，2000年度为3018亿美元，下滑了4％，为历届排名最差的一年。比收入下滑更糟糕的雇员人数的下滑，前500强雇员人数总量为217.3941人，大幅下滑了18％。

看来，与中国软件业此起彼伏的泡沫不同，全球软件业有点水深火热。难道是中国这边风景独好不成？其实，真正下去看看国内软件公司，就知道他们过的也是苦日子。

中国软件业的热潮主要是政府一厢情愿的政策意志驱动，不知道能够维持多久。
