扬州大学（扬大，Yangzhou University），创建于1902年，坐落于江苏省扬州市，是江苏省人民政府和教育部共建高校，江苏省属重点综合性大学，江苏高水平大学全国百强省属高校建设计划支持高校，江苏省综合改革试点高校，江苏-澳门·葡语国家大学合作联盟、江苏·英国20+20高水平大学合作联盟成员。该校入选“国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目”“特色重点学科项目建设高校”“111计划”“卓越工程师教育培养计划”“卓越农林人才教育培养计划”“新工科研究与实践项目”、中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校、全国首批深化创新创业教育改革示范高校。

扬州大学前身是1902年由张謇创建的通州师范学校和通海农学堂。1981年11月，经国务院批准，学校成为全国首批博士、硕士学位授予单位。1992年，由6所学院联合组建扬州大学。

Yangzhou University was originally founded by Zhang Jian in 1902 as Tongzhou Normal School and Tonghai Peasant School. In November 1981, with the approval of the State Council, the University became one of the first batch of institutions granting doctor's and master's degrees in China. In 1992, six colleges united to form Yangzhou University.
